The Grounded Nomad Co. was born on a Southwest Airlines napkin, shortly after I returned from a long-term stay in coastal Ecuador. During that time, I met so many people leading nomadic lives — whether working remotely or journeying à la Eat Pray Love.
Despite the transient nature of the hostel, I was deeply moved by the loving, sustaining bonds individuals were able to form — connecting across diversity, genuinely enjoying each other’s company, permitting themselves the beauty of experiencing the moment.
Yoga was one realm of connection, along with the shared meals, the time on the surf board, the lingering in the common areas. I envision retreat structures that recreate this magic & invite a certain knowing that it is always accessible to us, not just in faraway beach towns.
The word grounded captures this idea: that no matter where we go, we take ourselves with us. It’s about balancing this desire for adventure with a sense of rootedness & purpose. I believe we need both — safety & spontaneity — to create truly transformative experiences.
Through my retreats, I aim to foster this balance, offering spaces for deep connection, mindful travel, & an enduring sense of community.

Barista, prep cook, bartender, server, hotel receptionist, floor manager—if you name a role in the industry, chances are I’ve held it. Over nearly a decade, I’ve been immersed in the service world; I genuinely thrive on the people, the energy, and yes, the organized chaos.
Mindfulness meditation and yoga helped me drop an anchor amid the professional frenzy. I often felt like I was straddling two worlds and began envisioning a way to fuse them. What if we brought the warmth and intentionality of hospitality into the wellness space? What becomes possible when we focus on our true strengths, rather than scattering our energy trying to do it all?
As a guest experience designer, I take care of the details so you can focus on sharing your practice, your message, or your mission.
My academic background in International Affairs, with a concentration in sustainable tourism and sociocultural anthropology, deeply informs my approach. At The Grounded Nomad Co., I center people-focused sustainability through meaningful local partnerships—ensuring each experience fosters reciprocity between guests and hosts.
Today, I support wellness professionals, creatives, and mission-driven brands through thoughtfully curated retreats, community-rooted events, and creative hospitality services that bring clarity and care to every offering.
Let’s co-create an experience that takes guests on a journey, right where they are.
